What is MYQER?
MYQER is a free emergency information access platform, pronounced my care. You create an emergency profile with the things that matter, and you receive a card with two QR codes. One works online and one works offline. Anyone who needs to help can scan it with a phone camera and see your information in seconds. No app is needed, and no login is needed for the person helping you.
Who is MYQER for?
MYQER is for anyone who wants to be known in a moment when they cannot speak for themselves, and for anyone who loves someone like that. Families, parents and carers, older adults, travellers, people with allergies or conditions, schools and employers.
How does MYQER work?
Create your profile, generate your card, then save it, print it, and display it somewhere it can be found. When someone scans the QR they see a read only emergency summary that you chose to share, not your full records. The online QR shows your latest information. The offline QR still works when there is no signal.
Does the QR store my information?
The online QR points to your emergency profile, which is shown when it is scanned. The offline QR carries a saved version so it still works without signal. You choose what to include, and the emergency view is always read only.
Is MYQER a medical app or a health record?
No. MYQER is an emergency information access tool, not a medical device, a diagnostic tool, or a treatment platform. It helps a person understand your essential information, such as allergies, conditions and emergency contacts. It does not replace professional medical advice or emergency services.
How do I keep my information up to date?
Log in any time to review or edit your details. Your online QR shows the updated information the next time it is scanned. If you print a new card, it replaces the older one.
Is MYQER secure and private?
Yes. Your information is protected, hosted on secure certified infrastructure, and shown only as the read only emergency summary you choose to share. You stay in control and can edit or remove your information at any time. MYQER does not sell user data.
Can I use MYQER for my family?
Yes. Each person can have their own free profile and their own QR, which keeps things clear and private for everyone. Features that make managing a family easier are being explored.
What happens if I lose my phone?
No one can reach your account without logging in. You can sign in from another device at any time. Losing the printed card only means printing a new one, and your information stays safe.
Is MYQER recognised by emergency services?
MYQER is designed to be instantly readable by any phone camera, without special equipment. It is not an official NHS or emergency service system, and it does not replace one. It simply makes your information easier to find when time matters.
Does MYQER work abroad?
Yes. The QR works in any modern phone camera, anywhere in the world. MYQER shows your information in many languages, so a helper does not need to speak your language to understand what you need.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from your dashboard settings at any time. Your information is removed from live systems straight away, and from secure backups within thirty days.
