FAQ list

What is MYQER™?

MYQER (pronounced “my care”) is a free smart health and emergency QR system. It lets you securely store and share your essential medical information so that, in an emergency, responders can access what matters most — instantly and safely.

Who is MYQER for?

Anyone who wants to be prepared: individuals with medical conditions, allergy risks, carers, parents, travellers, or anyone who wants emergency contacts visible when seconds count.

How does MYQER work?

Each user creates an account and fills in their emergency triage profile. MYQER generates both an online record (live and updatable) and a secure offline QR version that can be printed or saved. When the QR is scanned, it shows only the approved emergency summary — not full health records.

Does the QR store my data?

No clinical data is directly stored inside the QR. The QR acts as a secure key or pointer to your live triage profile, which is fetched only when you authorise access. Your printable version uses local encoding, so it can still work offline when there’s no signal.

Is MYQER a medical app or a health record system?

MYQER is a triage and emergency information tool, not a diagnostic or treatment platform. It helps responders understand your essential background (e.g. allergies, conditions, emergency contacts) — it doesn’t replace professional medical advice.

How do I keep my information up to date?

Log in anytime to review or edit your details. Your live QR automatically reflects updates the next time it’s scanned. If you print a new offline version, it replaces older ones for accuracy.

Is MYQER secure and private?

Yes. Your data is encrypted at all times, hosted securely in the UK, and processed only with your explicit consent. You control what’s visible in emergencies — and can delete your data anytime. We never sell or share user data for marketing or analytics.

Can I use MYQER for family members?

Yes. You can create individual profiles for family members under the same account (coming soon in MYQER Plus). Each person has their own QR for clarity and privacy.

What happens if I lose my device?

No one can access your full MYQER data without logging in. You can sign in from any new device and revoke old sessions for safety.

Is MYQER recognised by emergency services?

MYQER follows internationally recognisable triage principles and universal QR standards. It’s designed to be instantly readable — without needing special equipment — but it’s not yet an official NHS or emergency-service system.

Does MYQER work abroad?

Yes. The QR works globally in any modern browser. Languages can switch based on the viewer’s device language, helping responders understand your emergency info anywhere.

How do I delete my account?

Go to your dashboard → Settings → Delete account. All personal data will be erased from live systems immediately and from encrypted backups within 30 days.
